I started creating jewellery for myself over ten years ago when I couldn't find contemporary easy to wear items. The pieces I create combine many materials such as glass, wooden and metal beads, semi-precious stones and fabrics to give that individual look.
I found there was great pleasure in creating individual pieces of jewellery and so what started as a hobby for myself soon grew when friends and family liked the idea of something unique.
I began to sell my jewellery through local craft fairs and fund raising events, supporting cancer charities in particular in rememberence of my father and mother-in-law.
My passion for creating has now grown to include hand made products for the home, allowing me to put my degree in Home Economics to good use.
I am married with three children, the youngest of whom is now ten. I am also a qualified teacher and split my time between teaching and my passion for creating jewellery and hand made gifts.
